We’re beyond proud to say that the European Union has once again named Utrecht as Europe’s most competitive region. Over 70 indicators – including macroeconomic stability, infrastructure, health, education, human capital, market size, technological readiness, business sophistication, and innovation – are used to compare regions across Europe. In fact, Utrecht has consistently achieved top marks in the three-yearly Regional Competitiveness Index, or RCI, and more than measures up against regions such as Paris and Stockholm.
